Fall 2008

Join Global PACT for a two-week project intensive in northern Thailand. Put your heads together with village public health volunteers to brain storm and develop solutions to basic human needs problems confronting Hill Tribe villagers in Phrao District, Chiang Mai Province.

October 22 to November 5

Winter 2009

Spend nine days (January 6 -14) with the Monteverde Institute (MVI), a Costa Rican non-profit association dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice on the sustainable management of resources through education, applied research and community engagement.

All are welcome!

Spring 2009

Spend a full semester with Global PACT at our regional-facility in northern Thailand learning the theory and practice of community development. Study and work under the supervision of a Global PACT professor to learn about micro-enterprise development and micro-finance, sustainable organic agriculture, children's homes and alternative schools for stateless kids.

Take your pick of five, month-long Global PACT Activist Training programs that offer you the world -- Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America!
