The Rutgers Center for Global Security and Democracy (CGSD, www.cgsd.rutgers.edu) is pleased to announce the competition for several $750 scholarships for Global PACT (www.globalpact.org) 2008 summer programs.

The scholarships are only available to Rutgers students who demonstrate financial need. If a student can demonstrate exceptional financial need, the scholarship award may exceed $750, at the discretion of CGSD.

The application process for the scholarship is entirely separate from Rutgers Study Abroad application and program enrollment processes. The award of the scholarship is pending enrollment and participation in Global PACT Brazil, Cambodia, Croatia, South Africa, or Thailand 2008. Applicants to Brazil, Cambodia, and Croatia will receive preference, though all programs are eligible.
