Academics
1. How will I earn credits?
If you attend a school which is a member of the Global PACT Consortium, you can find out the number and type of credits by looking on our enroll page.
If you attend a school which is not a member of the Global PACT Consortium, it is very simple to earn credit. We recommend that you enroll via our Global PACT Consortium member Rutgers Study Abroad, through which you will qualify for six (6) political science credits, Topics in World Politics (790:369) and Topics in Comparative Politics (790:389).
If you are a Rutgers student, these credits will appear automatically on your transcript. If you are a student at another university, the Rutgers Study Abroad Office will provide you with an official transcript.
2. Are there any pre-requisites?
No, there are not any pre-requisites. Global PACT accepts students from all majors.
Your group will be as varied as our course locations. We use questionnaires to ensure diverse groups, in terms of culture, age, background, and skills, from the beginning. Prior participants in international programs have come from countries as diverse the United States, Argentina, Iran, Japan, France, Croatia, Mongolia, Serbia, Bosnia, France, Montenegro, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, Italy, Tanzania, Zambia and South Africa, to name a few!
