Partner Coordinator
TITLE:
Partner Manager– Global PACT
Based at the Rutgers Center for Global Security and Democracy
Global Partnerships for Activism & Cross-cultural Training (Global PACT) is an NGO and civics development program at the Rutgers Center for Global Security and Democracy (CGSD). We combine research into advocacy techniques with programs that promote active civic engagement. Our team includes faculty, students, independent scholars, activists and members of the community. The Global PACT program of Rutgers CGSD involves students in all research and fieldwork, as well as in the day-to-day management of the Center in order to prepare them to start and manage their own research initiatives, NGOs and community projects when they graduate.
Purpose:
To coordinate the details of existing partnerships with institutions like NGOs and Universities both in the United States and around the world.
Reports:
Executive Director and Board of Directors.
Key Relationships:
Executive Director, Events Planner, Application & Admissions Manager, and Finance Staff
Roles & Responsibilities:
You will coordinate the functional details of Global PACT’s partner relationships with Universities and NGOs. You will provide to them any documentation needed for enrolling students in the programs. You will coordinate with them and the Event Planner to plan annual and special events. You will also need to work with them and the Admissions & Application Manager to actively manage important relationships and details such as the information packets, admission packets, and the program books. You will advise the Finance Staff in regards to necessary financial actions needed.
You will also assist with the student outreach efforts, by working with the student organizations on campus.

A willingness to thoroughly learn the position.
A high level of comfort with web-based programs, Excel, and the MS Office.
You demonstrate attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent written and spoken English.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with other organizations.
Terms and Conditions
Probation: There will be a probationary period of one month.
Salary range: Unpaid internship.
Hours: Working week is 20 hours a week. However, the demands of the job are likely to be such that a willingness to work flexible hours, as required, will be necessary.
