Trainer - International
Are you ready, willing, and able to train other students? Do you want to learn the skills necessary to lead an effective training? Do you want to go abroad with Global Pact as a trainer?
Applications for Global PACT international trainers are due in the fall to go on trainings this summer--we expect to have programs in Thailand, South Africa, and the Balkans. The process is competitive!
To be qualified for these positions you must provide evidence that you have:
1. Completed one international training as a trainee
2. Completed one teacher training
3. Completed at least one local training as an assistant trainer. Additional experience is highly desirable.
4. Ideally some other relevant training and professional experiences you feel are relevant.
Two fully compensated trainer spots will be available for each international training. This means all expenses, airfare, housing and food will be supplied by Global PACT. As the full cost of a trip is equivalent to a position that pays $12 per hour, 15 hours per week for 30 weeks, your international trainer position will, in fact, be a year long commitment beginning with your appointment in October. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Recruitment of students to attend your program
2. Planning and execution of Global Pact programs 15 hours per week, every week and as needed
3. Reporting of activities to Global Pact President Paul Kuehn
4. Execution of the program in-country
5. The utmost professionalism
Please direct all inquiries to Paul Kuehn, Executive Director, via email at kuehn@globalpact.org or by phone at (732) 579-8500.
