Evaluation
The Professor or “Program Director” and trainers in country provide students with timely feedback throughout the program using multiple techniques. Evaluations assess a student’s personal performance and his/her performance as a member of a work team. Students are evaluated in terms of the basic learning components of knowledge, skills and attitudes, assessed using essays, presentations, and trainer observation of group work and peer observation. All assessments are provided to students either immediately or within 48 hours. At the end of the program, the Professor prepares a portfolio on each student that includes relevant assessment materials, essays and a summary statement about the student’s performance individually and relative to other students. The final assigning of grades is, however, at the discretion your College or University.
