Join Global PACT for a two-week project intensive in Northern Thailand. Put your heads together with village public health volunteers to brain storm and develop solutions to problems confronting Hill Tribe villagers in Phrao District, Chiang Mai Province.

Winter 2008

Activism Experiences

Spend nine days (January 6 -14) with the Monteverde Institute (MVI), a Costa Rican non-profit association dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice on the sustainable management of resources through education, applied research and community engagement.

Project Intensives

Development Internship

Spend a full semester with Global PACT at our headquarters in Northern Thailand putting community development theory to practice. Work and study with Global PACT founder Michael Shafer, learning about micro-finance, sustainable organic agriculture and aquaculture, and development of homes and schools for stateless children.
