Who We Are
We are Global Partnerships for Activism for Cross-Cultural Training. For students, Global PACT is a study abroad program affiliated with universities in the US and abroad; for adults and retirees Global PACT offers the opportunity to turn professional skills acquired over a lifetime into tools for social transformation. More at introduction.
Educational Programs
Global PACT currently offers four international programs: activist training courses, project intensives, activism abroad experiences, and development internships. Learn more at Programs.
Who Participates
Global PACT participants come from every continent and more than fifty countries. They range in age from middle school to settled retirees. Their interests run from accounting and anthropology to virology and zoology by way of history, marketing, nursing, and social work, from air conditioning and photography to politics and teaching. Our graduates are Rhodes Scholars and Peace Corps volunteers - and normal people making a difference. Meet some Global PACT personalities at Our Team.
Our Mission
Global PACT is building an international network of individuals able to identify and solve problems in their communities. We offer practical, hands-on trainings that use real-life challenges to teach personal, project, and organizational development skills. We recognize our partners as the experts and stakeholders in their own community problems, and are non-ideological, non-partisan, and respectful of different cultures and values.
